David Bartholomew

I am a tropical forest ecologist, currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Umeå University. I am interested in understanding how tropical forests support high tree species diversity and how these forests will respond to environmental change. I completed my PhD entitled “Tree Function and Habitat Niche Partitioning in Tropical Forests” at the University of Exeter. I am also a co-founder and trustee of the Little Environmental Action Foundation (LEAF), a charity undertaking restoration of threatened forest ecosystems. I hope you enjoy learning about my research through my blog and photography!
